Md. Tanvir Hossain is a final year undergraduate student in the Department of International Relations at the University of Chittagong. He is currently working as a research associate in Project Upokul.

His primary research interest lies in the Blue Economy in the Bay of Bengal, focusing on its strategic opportunities, regional cooperation, and emerging rivalries among littoral states.

Besides Project Upokul, Tanvir is also serving as a Research Assistant under Professor Dr. Kamal Uddin, contributing to a faculty-led study on human rights-based responses to public health challenges in Bangladesh.
