About the Project
‘Climate Displacements and Human Security’ was the fifth research instalment of Project Upokul, led by West Coast Officer Iffat Ara Achol and Muhammad Irfan Sadik. The field survey was conducted in coastal areas of Barishal Division, including Patuakhali, Barguna, Jhalokathi, and Pirojpur. The study aims to understand the climate migration impacts beyond ‘loss and damage’ and intersect with the human security perspective.
